Injured Hiker Rescued From Framingham Trail
Fire officials responded to Callahan State Park after a hiker hit their head during a Monday hike.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Monday afternoon hike ended less-than-ideally at Callahan State Park for one person.
Framingham fire officials said they responded to the park to assist an injured hiker on Monday, with assistance from the Brewster Ambulance Service.
"Thanks to some great teamwork by Engine 7 & Ambulance 4 crews, along with the use of our UTV, the hiker was able to get to safety," officials said.

The hiker is said to have hit their head, leading to the need for assistance, according to the MetroWest Daily News.
