Jewelers, Restaurant Property Sold for $2.4 Million

Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced Thursday it purchase a 5,274 
square foot retail property located at 140-142 Worcester Road in Framingham for $2.4 million.

The property is located at a signalized intersection at the entrance road to Jordan’s Furniture and is within a half mile from both The Natick Mall and Shoppers World in Framingham.

The center is fully leased with two tenants - Stardust Jewelers and Chinese Mirch restaurant, who will remain as tenants, said a spokesperson for Linear Retail.

Last sold in 1997, the property is assessed at $1,026,400 according to the Framingham Assessor's database, with the building valued at $603,900.

This is Linear Retail’s fourth acquisition of 2013. Earlier this year, Linear Retail purchased Salem Park Plaza on South Broadway in Salem, NH, Daniel Webster Crossing at on Spit Brook Road in Nashua, NH and 145 Charles Street in Beacon Hill in Boston. This is Linear Retail’s first acquisition in Framingham.

Tom Godino of Godino & Co. was the sole broker in the transaction, representing the seller and procuring Linear Retail as the buyer.
