Leland St. In Framingham Closed All Weekend

The closure begins early Saturday morning and lasts through Monday, according to the public works department.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A pretty major street closure will take place this weekend in Framingham. Leland Street will close beginning Saturday morning for railroad track repairs, according to the public works department.

The closure will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday and last until near 6 a.m. on Monday. Leland Street runs from MCI-Framingham northeast to Beaver Street.

Alternatives include Blandin Street, Route 135, or Prospect Street coming from Coolidge Street in Sherborn. MWRTA bus routes 4 South and 11 will use Blandin and Beaver to get to and from the intermodal center downtown.
