Let it Grow: Framingham Police Say 'No' to Shaving in November

Police are letting it grow for a great cause this November.

Framingham Police are letting it grow for a great cause this month.

The department is participating in its first No Shave November, when officers can donate $100 to Home Base, a charity for post-9/11 veterans. In return, the officers can grow facial hair until Nov. 30. Growing facial hair is normally prohibited.

More than 30 officers have entered in thus far, and police say more are expected.
