LETTER: Dorfman Announces Candidacy for District 6 Framingham City Councilor
"As Framingham moves from a town to a city structure, some of us are excited, some of us have our concerns; many of us have some of each."

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Framingham, long known as the largest town in America, is becoming a city in 2018. There are plenty of things to be excited about, and plenty of notes of concern that come with it. As we face a new municipal government structure, we must think about ways we can do government better.

As Framingham moves from a town to a city structure, some of us are excited, and some of us have our concerns; many of us have some of each. We need the right people for the job moving forward, and Brian Dorfman is a name that you can count on.
Framingham has long been one of the most heavily taxed towns in Massachusetts, at an alarming rate of 1.671%. As we become a city, Dorfman wants to focus on keeping taxes affordable and predictable while still getting the best for the citizens of Framingham.
The spirit of Framingham is strong, neighborly, and resilient. That is the Framingham that welcomes everyone, old and new, to the town. We can keep that spirit alive with the right representatives on our Council.
Dorfman plans to focus on the wants and needs of individuals in the community, while making Framingham a place where business can thrive. He believes that Framingham can serve as a model city for others moving forward, staying personable like a town while adopting smart policies that will foster business growth in our city.
Most importantly, Brian Dorfman knows the value of listening to all his community members. He wants to be in constant contact with the citizens of Framingham. You can always directly contact him at Dorfman4Council@gmail.com, Facebook.com/Dorfman4Council, or Twitter.com/dorfman4council. You can also find his information at Dorfman4Council.com.
Framingham is the town we all chose, and the home we all make every day. Let’s build this city together. This November, Brian Dorfman would be honored to be elected to the Framingham City Council.
