A longtime MetroWest barbecue restaurant is preparing to close after three decades in business.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A longtime MetroWest barbecue restaurant is preparing to close after three decades in business.
Tennessee’s BBQ will permanently close its Framingham location at 341 Cochituate Road after service on Sunday, July 5, the restaurant announced on its website. The restaurant did not give a reason for the closure.
The Framingham restaurant is on Route 9 and is one of three Tennessee’s BBQ locations. The restaurant group said its Peabody and Braintree locations will remain open.

The Peabody restaurant is at 260 Andover St., and the Braintree restaurant is at 173 Pearl St.
Tennessee’s BBQ says its meats and sides are prepared from scratch daily. The restaurant also offers catering, gift cards and bottled sauces, according to its website.
