Mark Wahlberg Could Be in Framingham Filming Ted 2 Movie Scenes

A North Framingham neighborhood was informed filming of the movie Ted 2 will take place today, Aug. 4 starting at 7 a.m.

Actor Mark Wahlberg could be seen in Framingham today, Monday, Aug 4, filming scenes for Ted 2, the sequel to his blockbuster film.

A Framingham neighborhood, north of the Mass Pike, was notified there may be parking restrictions today and filming could happen between 7 a.m. and 8 tonight.

The sequel, starring Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried and Seth MacFarlane, as the voice of Ted, the bear, is expected to be in theatres in 2015.

McFarlane is also the producer of Ted 2, which stars Wahlberg as John Bennett, whose teddy bear Ted has come to life.

In Ted 2, Bennett’s friendship is “tested” when his girlfriend of four years wants more from their relationship, according to IMDB.

Ted was the highest-grossing R-rated film in 2012.

Editor’s note: Raging Bear LLC, which is filming the movie, did not mention in flyers to Framingham residents, which actors may or may not be in town for today’s filming.
