Massachusetts No. 2 Place to Be For Teachers: Study
If you are a teacher and not in New Jersey, then here is where you want to be.

Massachusetts isn't the best state for teachers, but it's darn close.
In fact, personal finance website WalletHub ranked the Bay State the second-best state for teachers in the country.
WalletHub looks at a number of metrics when devising their rankings. For this edition, the website considered the 10-year change in teacher salaries and their own school systems rankings, both of which Massachusetts ranked No. 1 in, as well as projected student-teacher ratio by 2022, in which Massachusetts was in the middle of the pack.

New Jersey was deemed the top state for teachers, while Hawaii was deep in last place.
