Multiple Water Main Breaks In Framingham Reported By DPW

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham public works crews were trying to fix three water main breaks in separate parts of the city on Tuesday afternoon.

The breaks came after a varied winter storm over the long weekend, and as temperatures plunged into the teens on Tuesday morning.

According to the Department of Public Works, the water main breaks were located at:

• Loring Drive near Irving Street and Western Avenue
• Ford Lane at Vaillencourt Drive
• Charles Street at Hollis Street

DPW crews were planning to fix the Loring and Charles Street breaks first, and then head to the Ford Lane break. Residents near the breaks may experience low water pressure, and drivers may see delays near construction areas.
