MutualOne Bank Promotes 4 Employees

MutualOne Bank promoted Clarice Santos, Julie Morin, Melissa Roberts, and Cheryl Suarez.

Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank, announced in a press release the promotions of Clarice Santos of Framingham, Julie Morin of Hudson, Melissa Roberts of Brockton, and Cheryl Suarez of Holliston.


Clarice Santos: Santos was promoted to manager of client services, responsible for managing the client services department and electronic banking activities. She joined MutualOne Bank in 2008 as a teller at the Concord Street branch in Framingham. In 2009, she joined the client services department as a senior account representative and had served as assistant manager since 2013. Previously, she was an administrative assistant in the law offices of Richard J. DeAngelis. Santos is a graduate of Framingham High School and Framingham State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is an active volunteer, and recently returned from a volunteer mission at a refugee shelter in South Africa.


Julie Morin: Morin is now assistant manager of client services following her promotion from senior account representative in the department, a position she held since 2012. She joined MutualOne Bank in 2007 as a teller at the Concord Street branch, and was promoted to customer service representative in 2009. Previously, she was a teller at Gouverneur Savings and Loan. Morin is a graduate of Joseph P. Keefe Technical High School and holds a bachelor’s degree from Regis College in Weston.

Melissa Roberts: Roberts was promoted to compliance specialist from her previous position as operations specialist, which she held since joining MutualOne Bank in 2011. She began her career in 2001 as a teller with S-Bank. She moved up to operations clerk, a position she held at S-Bank for the following nine years. Roberts earned a bachelor’s degree in travel and tourism/hospitality administration at Lasell College in Newton.

Cheryl Suarez: Suarez was promoted to the position of operations manager, effective December 2014. Presently assistant branch manager at the Concord Street branch in Framingham, Suarez joined MutualOne in 2012 as a teller, with past experience as a store supervisor with TD Bank. She subsequently served as a customer service representative before being named assistant branch manager in May 2013. Her background also includes over 15 years of management experience with Bank Boston/Fleet and five years as a special education aide for the Newfound Area School District. She is a past president and volunteer coordinator of the Parent Teacher Community Organization for Bridgewater (NH)-Hebron Village School

MutualOne Bank, which operates under an 1889 state charter, has full-service offices at 828 Concord Street and One Lincoln Street in Framingham and at 49 Main Street in Natick, a Commercial Loan Center at 160 Cochituate Road in Framingham, and a Residential Loan Center at 49 Main Street in Natick.
