MutualOne Foundation $2,500 Grant to Help Prevent Student Bullying

The MutualOne Charitable Foundation recently awarded $2,500 to ACCEPT Educational Collaborative to help support the organization’s Safe from Bullying program.
ACCEPT, a regional, non-profit educational organization, provides services including education programs and specialized transportation for students with moderate to severe special needs.
The organization will use its grant funding from the MutualOne Charitable Foundation to provide administrators, teachers and paraprofessionals quality professional development on strategies to prevent bullying. Drivers of ACCEPT vans and buses will also have sessions as part of the ongoing training they receive.
The ACCEPT Education Collaborative grant was among awards totaling $43,725 in the Foundation’s most recent round of funding.
The MutualOne Charitable Foundation is a continuation of the Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation following the 2012 merger of Framingham Co-operative Bank and Natick Federal Savings Bank.
Since it was originally established in 1998, the Foundation has donated over $2.7 million to charitable, educational, and civic initiatives that improve and enhance the quality of life in Framingham, Natick, and surrounding communities.
