MutualOne Foundation Awards $2,500 To Help Homeless Children

Horizons for Homeless Children's Playspace Program serves homeless children living in four Framingham family shelters.

MutualOne Charitable Foundation awarded $2,500 to Horizons for Homeless Children’s Playspace Program, which serves homeless children living in four Framingham family shelters.

At these shelters, trained Playspace volunteers engage in play and developmental activities that support the children’s social/emotional, physical and cognitive development.

According to Dianne Luby, Horizons for Homeless Children president and CEO, Playspaces provide early learning and play programming to ensure that young homeless children living in family shelters have access to the opportunity for the normal, developmental play that every child needs to learn and grow.
