MutualOne Foundation Supports Literacy Program at Barbieri Elementary
The school-based program will provide books for the children to use in the classroom and to take home to build a personal library.

With its recent $5,000 grant from the MutualOne Charitable Foundation, Operation Outreach-USA will help up to 400 students in grades 1-3 at Barbieri Elementary School in Framingham develop literacy skills while learning compassion and respect for people, animals and the environment.
The school-based program aimed at underserved populations will provide books for the children to use in the classroom and to take home to build a personal library. It will also provide teacher instructional materials and parent guides in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
The MutualOne Charitable Foundation will be acknowledged on a book plate that each student personalizes and places in their books. The book plate contains a promise: “I pledge to be kind to people, animals, and the environment.”
