Last Wednesday, the state labeled Framingham one of eight "high risk" communities in the state for coronavirus transmissions. The city also added more than 60 new cases between Aug. 21 and Aug. 28. In response to the rise, the skate park — and one of the parking lots at Farm Pond Park — and several basketball courts have been shut down.

Both of Framingham's testing sites will operate through at least Sept. 10 under the state's Stop the Spread program.
