A New Music Adventure for Kids!
New Centre Music House band program provides a unique experience for a charitable cause.

There is a new band in town! Centre Music House announces their innovative new rock band program, The Centre Music House Band.
Max Larson, manager of Centre Music House, recognized the growing demand from their students for a more immersive band experience. Out of this need emerged the Centre Music House Band.
“The House Band is a special brand-new program for young musicians who are more advanced than your average student,” Max shared. ”It’s a chance for those kids to experience what it’s like to play in a band with other talented musicians, learn and rehearse a more advanced set list, and appear in as many as 5 unique performance opportunities throughout the community.”

In addition to several live performances, the House Band program offers students experiences unlike other rock band classes. They will record songs and learn multi-track recording, develop confidence through stage presence coaching, and, most impressively, create and promote a concert performance for a charitable cause.
“By participating, kids are going to play some great music, develop really valuable skills working in a team, and, ultimately, they’re going to engage in some community service,” Max shared. “The final performance of the band will be a concert to raise money for a local charity of their choice. We call it doing good through music.”

The Centre Music House Band has limited spots which Max expects to fill quickly. He adds that “kids should sign up for the House Band if they’re looking for something more interesting and engaging than their usual music lessons. They’re going to learn a lot and have a ton of fun performing at some really cool venues.”

Max stressed that the program is open to any young musician, not just current Centre Music House students. They must be between 12 and 18 years old and have at least 3 years playing experience.
In conclusion, Max shares, “we encourage anyone to audition! We’re definitely looking for a relatively high skill level in these kids. That being said, if this sounds like something you’d love to do but maybe you're experiencing some doubts about your skill level, please, please, please submit an audition video or reach out to us anyways. Having heart and passion behind your music counts for SO MUCH in performance.”
The Centre Music House Band’s first performance will be at Framingham’s first Oktoberfest on October 13th.You can catch them perform in front of the Memorial Building, at the corner of Union Avenue and Concord Street.
