FRAMINGHAM, MA — Here's your chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card — and to make your mark on the local public transportation system.

MWRTA is planning to create a new Saturday route between the Jefferson Hills apartments in Framingham and the Woodland Green Line station in Newton. The route will combine sections of the MWRTA Routes 1 and 9 buses.

The route is just a pilot for the moment, which is why it's only running on Saturday. Routes 1 and 9 both travel along Route 9, but they terminate at the Natick Mall. Route 1 usually begins a little farther west in Westborough.
