With an accounting degree from Bentley and an MBA in entrepreneurship from Babson, Sayed comes to Dream Dinners after a successful career as an accounting manager, business coach and project manager with a Fortune 100 company.
Sayed’s journey from customer to owner began several years ago when she was looking for a better, healthier solution for dinnertime that would fit into her and her husband Wally’s busy, two-job, long-commute lifestyle.

"As a customer, I was impressed with the welcoming, accommodating environment at Dream Dinners," said Sayed. "I loved the variety of menu choices and the easy, time- saving, fix-and-freeze process. When the opportunity to purchase the franchise arose, I realized my dream to combine my experience and passion for helping others in a business that serves the community and has a positive impact on people’s well-being."
Established by local entrepreneurs Tiffany Duda, Ann Marie Parness and Michele Guilmette, the Framingham franchise of the national brand that started in Washington state in 2002 has been a steady presence in Nobscot for 15 years.
Sayed began working with partners Duda and Parness, and their team last summer to learn the business from the inside out and establish a rapport with the staff. Operations manager Amy Monahan said that having Sayed participate in all facets of the business for the past six months, "has allowed for an easy, seamless transition for the staff and our customer.”
Sayed is committed to furthering the Dream Dinners mission of giving back to the community, helping organizations raise much-needed funding through donations and in- store meal prep fundraising events.
In addition, she will continue ongoing partnerships with organizations that help others, such as Ovations for the Cure, The Ellie Fund, and the Rhode Island Ovarian Cancer Alliance, which provide meals for families dealing with cancer. Sayed is an active member of her town, volunteering on several Ashland committees including Open Space and Recreation, and Community Preservation. She is a member of the Ashland Business Association.
Coming in to a long-standing business with an established customer base, she wants to reassure new and existing customers that she is excited to "continue the strong tradition of supporting families and the community with a welcoming environment, and a dedicated team who strive to provide excellent customer service."
Sayed added, “I truly believe in the Dream Dinners solution and how it can transform people’s busy, stressful lives by providing easy, homemade meals that foster quality, family time around the dinner table.”
