Newsies Stop The World!

A Common Thread Theatre Company (ACTTC) continues their track record of providing access to excellent and affordable local theatre.

Based on the 1992 motion picture and inspired by a true story, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right!

Set in 1899 New York City, Newsies is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family and every audience.

The production team of ACTTC expressed much excitement on having the privilege to be one of the first local community theater companies to produce "Newsies".

Featuring a multi-generational cast of local talent, this production showcases strong and eye-catching choreography from Emily Herschlag, as well as captivating performaces from the cast under the direction of Kaycee Renee Wilson.

Performances will be held at Dennison Memorial Hall (at the Boston Church of Christ), 214 Concord Street, Framingham, MA.

Tickets: $25 General Admission / $22 Seniors, Youth, and Students with valid ID
