Now Open: Framingham Hot Table Panini Restaurant

The restaurant took over the former Snip-its children's barbershop at Shoppers World in Framingham.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Springfield-based panini chain Hot Table opened its long-anticipated Framingham location this week, the company's eighth in the region.

The Framingham restaurant is located at Shopper's World in the former Snip-its barber shop. Owner John DeVoie revealed plans to expand to Framingham in March, and received approval from the city in May.

The chain has restaurants in Marlborough and Worcester, the Springfield area and near Hartford, Conn. The company was founded in 2007 by brothers John and Chris DeVoie and restaurateur Don Watroba.

Hot Table offers almost two dozen types of panini sandwiches, from hummus-veggie to spicy pulled pork. The restaurant also serves a variety of salads, soups and side dishes, and has a full kids' menu.

The Framingham location is open six days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., but is closed on Sundays. Similar to Chick-fil-A nearby along Cochituate Road, Hot Table sets aside Sundays to give employees a day of rest and, if they choose, time to worship.
