Police ID Framingham Man Killed In I-495 Crash
The 24-year-old corrections officer died on Christmas Eve morning after crashing in Hopkinton.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — State police have identified the Framingham man who died on Christmas Eve morning in a single-vehicle crash along I-495 in Hopkinton.
State police said Ryan Gaudet, 24, died after his pickup truck left the roadway and crash into the Fruit Street bridge abutment. The crash happened near 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
In an update on Tuesday, state police did not release details about what caused the crash.

Gaudet was the only person in his truck, and the only driver involved in the crash. He was pronounced dead after the incident at UMass Memorial in Worcester.
Gaudet was driving home from work as a corrections officer at the prison in Shirley when he crashed. A GoFundMe page set up for him says he hit a patch of ice while riding along the highway.
