Popular Ashland Ice Cream Shop Teases Framingham Location

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The ice cream options are set to expand in Framingham in the very near future.

Popular Ashland ice cream shop Murphy's Eats & Treats announced on Facebook recently that they will open a second location in Framingham in the near future.

"As we start to wind down our sixth season in Ashland, we are gearing up for the transition to our Framingham location which will be opening soon," restaurant officials said.

They continued:

"The Framingham location has presented us with some challenges that we did not expect but we are past those now and we are in the process of completing the punch list of items that remain!

Our opening date has still not yet been determined until everything is done, and all inspections have been completed but I will say it is right around the corner and we are excited to get the ball rolling!"

Good news for Framingham, Murphy's is set to replace the recently closed CJ's Northside Grill, which closed after 12 years of operation this spring.

Murphy's features a long list of both hard ice creams and soft serve, and also offers burgers, sandwiches and seafood options at the Ashland location.
