Power Outage In Framingham After Utility Poles Toppled

Nearly 200 Framingham residents will be without power for much of Monday after a truck knocked down the utility poles.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Close to 200 people in the downtown Framingham area were without power on Monday after a semitrailer knocked down several utility poles, according to police.

The incident happened along Bishop Drive at around 7:30 a.m., according to Eversource. The power will likely be out for much of the day Monday, with an estimated restoration time of 4:15 p.m.

The truck pulled down at least two utility poles in the Bishop Gardens condominium complex, according to photos shared by Framingham police.
