FRAMINGHAM, MA — Public Lands, an outdoor store which takes a conservationist angle to the brands they carry, will open its first New England location in Framingham this weekend.

On Friday, the ceremonial ribbon will be cut on the Shoppers World location, 1 Worcester Road in Units 515 and 516, on Friday, but there is much more than shopping scheduled for the weekend.

A "vendor village experience" is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, offering community members an opportunity to “meet the store” and Public Lands leadership while participating in gear giveaways and product demos from brands like YETI, The North Face, Cannondale and Patagonia.
