Raising Cane's Coming To Framingham?
A public hearing before the Framingham Planning Board is scheduled later this month for the growing chicken chain.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Cochituate Road could soon be getting a Post Malone-approved chicken restaurant.
Raising Cane's is eyeing a new restaurant at 253 Cochituate Road. According to a traffic impact study, the restaurant would be just over 3,300 sq. ft. and feature two drive-thru lanes.
The restaurant would be built on a 1.02 acre plot that is currently developed as a paved parking lot.

Raising Cane's is based in Louisiana and, as it's grown over the last five years, has garnered co-signs from celebrities and food fanatics.
According to Eat This, Not That!, the company currently operates over 750 restaurants, and planned to open 100 more in 2023. Of those restaurants, four are in Massachusetts.

One thing for certain about Framingham's proposed restaurant is that it won't open in 2023, but there will be some progress made in the form of a public hearing scheduled for later this month.
The Framingham Planning Board will host a public hearing on Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Blumer Community Room in the Memorial Building.
