Rams Soccer Advances to Conference Semifinals
Framingham State women's soccer won 1-0 over MCLA Tuesday night at Maple Street Field in Framingham.

Framingham State University senior Marisa Parent scored 20 minutes into the match to lead the Rams past MCLA in the first-round of the 2014 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.
The Rams advance to play #2 seeded Westfield State on Friday evening in the semi-final round.

Parent’s goal was the lone score in the otherwise fairly lopsided affair. The Rams defense held the Trailblazers to six shots while taking 22 attempts on net.
Sara Sullivan made 2 saves in net for the Rams and sophomore Kathryn Daly (South Cairo, NY/ Cairo-Durham) made five saves in ninety minutes for the Trailblazers.

The Rams travel to Westfield State to play the MASCAC semi-final round on Friday, November 7th at 7 p.m.
The winner of that game will play in the championship round at the highest remaining seed.
