Rev. Julio C. Neris, 51, Died Saturday
After graduating from Law school, he passed his BAR exam and became an attorney while living in Brazil. After moving to Massachusetts, he spread the Word of God through his Church and was an accomplished musician.

He was the husband of Marizete (Silva) Neris for the last 27 years. He was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the son of America A. (Da Luz) Neris of Framingham and the late Eloy Castro Neris.
A graduate of Santa Monica High School in Rio de Janeiro in 1979, he later received his Bachelor’s degree from SUESC University and a Master’s in Law from GAMA, Filho University, and Bachelor and Master Degrees in Theology from Gordon College in Boston.

After moving to Massachusetts, Rev. Neris spread the Word of God through his Church and was an accomplished musician, playing the piano, guitar and saxophone. He recorded two Christian music CDs and was well known throughout the Brazilian Community.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves three brothers, Carlos Neris of Framingham, Marco and Mario Neris, both of Brasilia, Brazil and a sister, Maria Neris of Framingham; and aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, including Rebecca N. Rezende and Carlos Neris, Jr. both of Framingham.
A graveside service will be held today, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. at Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove Street, Framingham.
