UPDATED: Route 9 Framingham Bank Robbed; Suspect Fled on Foot
Framingham Police are searching for a bank robbery suspect near Concord Street.

The Citizens Bank on Worcester Road was robbed just after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
A young black male, described in his late teens or early 20s, wearing a red polo shirt and sunglasses, passed a note to a bank employee stating he had a weapon, said Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin.
Lt. Cronin said the bank gave the man cash in a bag.The amount is estimated at $25,000, according to Framingham Police.

The suspect then fled on foot north on to Concord Street.
No weapon was shown at the bank, said Lt. Cronin.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
