Cops: Body Discovered in Boston's Charles River

The body was found near the Harvard Bridge Friday morning.

The body of woman was discovered by a boater in Boston’s Charles River on Friday morning, according to the Massachusetts State Police.

Just before 7 a.m., the boater reported finding the body near the Harvard Bridge and Massachusetts Avenue.

Police and fire officials responded to the scene to aid in the recovery of the body.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office later confirmed the body was one of an adult female.
