Brussels Attacks: Security Tightens Across Massachusetts
Officials say security has been strengthened at transit systems and Logan, but there is no credible threat to Massachusetts.

BOSTON, MA - In the aftermath of a series of terrorist attacks which killed dozens in Brussels, Governor Charlie Baker tweeted that there is "no credible threat" to Massachusetts.
"While there has been no credible threat to MA, security has been strengthened for our public transit systems and airports," he said in a number of tweets addressing the attacks. Baker also said Mass. law enforcement is working with federal law enforcement, and he offered his condolences to the victims and their families.
State police said there will be an increased patrol presence near transportation centers.
"Troopers constantly maintain a high level of situational awareness," State Police spokesman Dave Procopio said in a statement. "Additionally, patrols have been directed to increase presence in areas near transportation centers in the state. As always, a multi-layered plan is in place at the airports and seaports."
