MA Weather Forecast: Fourth Nor'easter Delayed, But Still Likely
Heavy snow and strong winds are expected for the middle of next week.

The storm that has everyone rolling their eyes and sucking their teeth is being delayed. Forecasters say the possible winter storm - the fourth in a matter of weeks - is now expected midweek, not at the beginning of the week. That would mean a legitimate spring nor'easter for Southern New England.
At this rate, the storm should land here Wednesday. That's good news for those hoping their snow melts and storm damage is fixed before the storm hits. It's bad news for anyone who is done with snow, "possibly heavy," the Weather Channel says, or strong winds. The storm - with its heavy snow - could linger into Thursday. Forecasters warn this could mean more power outages and coastal flooding.
The storm is still days out, and the first snow predictions usually don't come until about 72 hours before. What areas may get the worst of it is still up in the air, but a winter storm in spring is "likely," forecasters are saying.

As of 10:30 a.m., there were still about 850 homes without power in Massachusetts following the last storm, which knocked out power for about 230,000 in what was an actual improvement over the past two storms. Many on the Cape weren't expected to get power back until midnight tonight.

Friday's highs temperatures will be in the high 30s and low temperatures will be in the low 20s, as we are in the midst of a rare March calm spell.
