Scouts, Veterans Place Flags at Edgell Grove Cemetery
Families, Scouts, and Veterans place more than 2,000 flags at all of the town's cemeteries in anticipation of Memorial Day.
Sunday, almost 2000 flags alone were put in at . Edgell Grove, designed as a “rural cemetery," is on the National Register of Historic Places.
It takes a great deal of energy to go up and down the hills of such a cemetery and that is just what we had Sunday.
A special thank you to for getting the word out and to Daisy Girl Scout Troops 75166 and 81342, Cub Scout Pack 2 (home school Den) and Boy Scout Troop 21. In addition to the Scouts the Valentino, Berdecio and several other families came out to support the effort.

In addition to Edgell Grove, the other cemeteries in town were also done by volunteers. Thank you to John McEntegart, the Russo family, Don McNeil, Kathy Carbeau, Jim Sutton and Mario Vasquez for all of their help.
