Search For Missing Person At Ashland State Park Reservoir Resumes

Multiple streets near the park along Route 135 were closed Friday morning for the search.

ASHLAND, MA — There was a large police and fire presence at the Ashland Reservoir inside Ashland State Park on Friday as crews resumed a search in the water for a missing person.

Almost a dozen police and fire agencies converged on the reservoir on Wednesday morning for the search, but it was called off around 4:30 p.m. as a nor'easter approached the region. In addition to Ashland police and firefighters, personnel from Auburn fire, Holliston police, Environmental Police, state police, Hopkinton police and MetroLEC assisted with the search.

On Friday, police shut down Spring Street east of Olive Street as the search resumed. Police have not released details about the missing person or where they are from.
