Second Framingham Pupuseria Gets OK To Open
The second Framingham La Pupusa Loca Grille will soon open along Concord Street.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — There's a pupusa empire emerging in Framingham.
The owner of La Pupusa Loca Grille, 144 Waverly St., got the green light to open a second location in Framingham at Monday's Board of License Commissioner's meeting. The new restaurant will open soon at 795 Concord St.
Owner Maria Cortez will use the second location to expand on the Waverly Street restaurant's offerings. The new location will feature a broader array of Mexican food, and will have space for about eight sit-down seats.

The new location will serve traditional El Salvadorean breakfast and lunch food, plus Tex-Mex items like quesadillas and burritos. Of course, the new location will also serve the namesake pupusas — an El Salvadorean corn griddle cake will fillings ranging from beans and cheese to deep-fried pork.
The restaurant will be open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, according to the menu.
