SLIDESHOW: A Look Back at Open Mic Night

Centre Music House held its first Open Mic Night of the season at Sofa Cafe this past Friday.

On Friday night, many came out to the inaugural Open Mic Night at Sofa Cafe for a unique musical experience. Some took center stage to share their talents, while others came out to enjoy the local performers sing and play their hearts out. All enjoyed Sofa Cafe's specialty menu items crafted especially for this evening.

In its 8th year running, Centre Music House's Open Mic Night started off the new season with a bang. Artists of all ages took to the stage and performed songs by the Beatles, Beach Boys, Tom Petty, Imagine Dragons, AC/DC, Nat King Cole, and many others. Several performers even showcased their songwriting talents by performing their own original songs.

Open Mic Nights are scheduled for the last Friday of each month. The next Open Mic Night at Sofa Cafe will be on October 26th at 6:30pm. Follow Centre Music House on Facebook to keep up to date on each event here.
