Stolen Framingham Vehicle Involved in Sad Scheme: WATCH

Police say a man took a donation can from the Mobil Gas Station on Route 1 while a woman distracted the clerk.

NORWOOD, MA — Police are trying to figure out the identity of two people who were caught on camera stealing a can filled with donations for a charity.

Saturday afternoon, a man and a woman walked into the Mobil Gas Station on Route 1 in Norwood. Surveillance footage from the store shows a man and woman walking into the store. As the woman distracts the clerk, the man swipes a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society donation can before walking out.

Police say they have the suspects' license plate but the vehicle came back as stolen out of Framingham.
