Sudbury Pizza Spot Expanding To Framingham
The wood-fired pizza and flatbread restaurant opened its first Sudbury location in 2020.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Sudbury pizza maker is expanding to Framingham, set to take over the Waverly Street spot that previously held the Wings Over restaurant.
Fire Dough Kitchen, which opened its first Sudbury location in 2020, signed a lease for the space in August, according to MetroWest Commercial Real Estate broker Cheryl Tully Stoll. Wings Over left the space at the end of December and plans to reopen in a new location along Route 9.
Fire Dough Kitchen opened the first location in a Boston Post Road shopping plaza in summer 2020, replacing Petros Pizzeria. Owner Jason Carter is a Framingham resident.

"I am very pleased to be able to open our second restaurant in my own town. I had been looking for another location for a while, and when Cheryl reached out to me and showed me the property, I took it on the spot," Carter said in a news release.
As implied in the name, Fire Dough Kitchen serves wood-fired pizza with some over-the-top creations like the "Mac Daddy" pizza topped with mac and cheese, pulled pork and BBQ sauce. And for Wings Over regulars, the restaurant also serves chicken wings. You can view the full menu here.
