The Nursery School at Temple Beth Am Names New Director
As the new director, Amy Salinger will be responsible for enrollment, recruitment, programming and marketing for the preschool.

As director of the Metrowest preschool, Salinger is responsible for enrollment, recruitment, programming and marketing for the preschool.
“Amy Salinger has been a fantastic addition to our close-knit preschool community. Her enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to the success of our program is unrivaled,” said Jacqui Goldberg, president of the board of directors of The Nursery School at Temple Beth Am. “Together, we have already made some exciting and welcomed modifications to our Framingham preschool program to best meet the evolving needs of our families. We offer enrichment programs including cooking, yoga, literacy and art expression in addition to our preschool program."

Prior to joining the TBA school community, Salinger was a teacher at the Rae and Joseph Gann Beth El Preschool in Newton, Family Educator at Temple Sinai of Brookline and a teacher at The Lower School at Solomon Schechter Day School. She attended attended Simmons College (BA), Wheelock College (Masters), and Hebrew College (Jewish/Family Education).
The Nursery School at the Temple engages children in both Judaic and secular early childhood learning in an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 15 months to 5 years. Classes are thoughtfully centered around the emotional, cognitive, social and physical needs of each child. The school fosters self esteem and independence as well as imbuing a cultural identity of being Jewish at a young age.

The school is currently enrolling students for the eight week “Summer Play” program designed for children ages 2-5 years. The flexible, long-running program is a combination of preschool curriculum and summertime fun and is staffed by the school’s pre-school teachers. Enrollment is also open for the 2011-12 school year.
