Tuesday Apartment Fire Displaces 3 Framingham Residents

Two adults and a child were displaced in a Tuesday night fire at a Temple Street apartment building, officials said.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham fire officials were able to extinguish a fire at an apartment building without anyone being injured, but three people, including a child, were displaced.

The Framingham Fire Department shared photos from a fire at 14 Temple Street on Tuesday, which took multiple fire engines to put out.

Framingham Source first confirmed that, although no one was injured, three people were displaced from their units. All other residents were able to go back to their apartments.

Officials estimate that the fire caused $50,000 in damages, and determined that the fire was accidental.

"A job well done by Group 1 in knocking down last night's working fire at 14 Temple St. in #Framingham. Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Engine 7, Tower 1, Rescue 1 & Ladder 3 worked together to contain & extinguish the fire. Thanks to our public safety partners, Framingham Police Department & Framingham Public Works for their support.
We would also like to thank our mutual aid partners, Natick Fire Department, Southborough Fire Department, Ashland Fire Department, Wayland Massachusetts FIRE Department & Sudbury Fire Department for covering the city while we were on scene."
