Turkey Giveaway In Framingham Benefits Families In Need

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The first-ever Mrs. Framingham pageant winner is sponsoring a turkey giveaway in Framingham that will benefit up to 20 families.

Cynthia MacLean said this week she's hosting the giveaway to help people in need during the holiday season.

"People are still experiencing the effects of COVID-19 and are in desperate need of help," she said in a news release. "In addition to starting an organization to help widows during COVID-19, my husband and I feel it’s very important to help during this Thanksgiving as well. Our goal is to deliver to people that can’t make it out to purchase the essentials needed to have a blessed Thanksgiving."
