Two Jake's Place in New England Wrestling Championships
Jake O'Brien places 3rd and Jake Stetson places 5th in this prestigious competition

Under the leadership of Framingham High School wrestling coach, Jon Kanavich, and Assistant Coach, Erik Delehanty, two Framingham Flyers placed in the 2015 New England Wrestling Championship.
Jake O’Brien, 195 lbs., placed 3rd with a victory over Vermont’s #1 wrestler and last year’s New England runner -up. With this victory O’Brien earned his 100th win for Framingham High School. O’Brien also beat the Massachusetts and Maine State Champions.
Jake Stetson, 152 lbs., placed 5th over rival Davey Goodall from Chelmsford. Stetson has faced Goodall 4 times in the last month. In their 1st match Stetson beat Goodall at the Team State Tournament. Goodall then beat Stetson in double over-time in the D1 State finals and at the All-State Tournament third place match. Stetson persevered at this weekend’s New England Championship with a Major Decision 14-5 win.
