Union Avenue Road Reconstruction Set To Resume

Framingham officials announced the project is set to pick back up on March 20. Here are the areas that will be affected.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Union Avenue road reconstruction project is scheduled to resume the week of March 20 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting, city officials announced on Friday.

Union Avenue southbound traffic will be detoured to Franklin Street, to Mt. Wayte Avenue and Melrose Street, and back onto Union Avenue, officials said.

Union Avenue will be open for northbound travel only between Mt. Wayte Avenue and Main Street.

On-street parking will be strictly prohibited, and police details will be on site to facilitate residential traffic.
