The clothing store UNIQLO will open one of its first stores in Massachusetts on Friday, Aug. 29, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Natick Mall at 9:45 a.m.Larry Meyer, CEO of UNIQLO USA, will preside over the ceremony.The opening will feature performances by traditional Japanese Taiko drummers and an appearance by Wally the Green Monster from the Boston Red Sox. Friday morning and throughout the weekend, there will be promotions and giveaways including 200 limited edition UNIQLO tote bags each day of opening weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and Taiko drum performances.UNIQLO is also opening a store Friday at the The Mall at Chestnut Hill.
