Verve Serving up 5-Course Beer-Themed Dinner Friday

Enjoy a five-course meal and seasonal ales and lagers from Clown Shoes.

The Verve-Crown Plaza Natick is hosting a beer dinner Friday night, Oct. 3, from 6:30-9, There are still a few seats available.

Chef Alastair Mclean offers four (well, really five) expertly paired courses with local seasonal ales and lagers from Clown Shoes Brewery, based in Ipswich.

In addition to pairing two pours with each course, Chef Mclean has playfully incorporated a variety of ales, lagers and stouts throughout the menu, giving each guest the opportunity to sip and savor all evening long.

Upon arrival, guests will whet their appetites for the main event with a standing first-course that includes an assortment of beer-inspired snacks and cocktails like Pantry’s “Hop’s and Honey” beer nuts and house-made pretzels served with beer cheese, along with an Apple a Day “beertini.”

Boasting tender beef, fresh seafood and slowly-simmered pork, the remaining courses for Pantry’s prix-fixe beer dinner will be served as follows:
