'Very Serious' Car Crash In Framingham Calls For Helicopter Rescue

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A medical helicopter was called to the scene of a "very serious" car crash at Edgell Road near Brook Street in Framingham Wednesday evening, the city said in a statement.

A male was flown to the hospital while a female was taken by ambulance, according to police. They are both in critical but stable condition.

Footage from the scene shared by WCVB shows the front half of a white sedan nearly entirely destroyed.

Edgell Road between Central Street and Frost Street was shut down Wednesday night following the accident, according to police.
