FRAMINGHAM, MA — Cities and towns across Massachusetts will be holding Veterans Days ceremonies this year in what will be at least a partial return to normal following pandemic cancellations in 2020.
In Framingham, a recent volunteer effort to refurbish a park dedicated to veterans will be the main event. Earlier this year, Framingham police Lt. Robert Downing and other local volunteers began raising money to update the Concord Street park after decades. The park features bricks memorializing veterans from Framingham.
