Video: Framingham Man Races Garbage Truck In Show Of Support

FRAMINGHAM, MA — One Framingham resident has found a unique way to show his affection for city sanitation workers.

A resident named Mark recently staged a foot race against a city sanitation truck as it drove down his street.

As the truck rounded the corner of his block, Mark sprinted toward a length of toilet paper strung between two garbage containers. You'll just have to watch the video above to see who ultimately won the "trash day race."

Framingham's sanitation workers have been on the job throughout the coronavirus pandemic. The city's Public Works Department has also been hit a little harder by the pandemic — layoffs of municipal workers began last Thursday in the department.
