Volturno Pizza Opens Up Second Location In Framingham

Volturno Pizza, the original located in Worcester, is now open in Framingham.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Known for its freshly made pasta dishes and of course Neapolitan pizza, Volturno fans in Framingham now don't have to drive to Worcester.

The restaurant, the second for owner Greg Califano, officially opened doors on Sept. 23 at 1 Edgell Road in Framingham and they're offering up Neapolitan pizzas, Italian cuisine, craft cocktails, and have an extensive craft beer list.

"We wanted to bring a local family run restaurant experience to Framingham. I thought it was time to bring fresh made pastas and Neapolitan pizza to such a great 'city,'" said Califano.

The menu, explained Califano, is similar to the Worcester menu but there are some differences because of the local farms with which they work. Look for the $18 pistachio pizza with Bershire pork sausague, pistachio pesto, mozzarella and Romano. Then they have pasta dishes ranging from the $17 carbonara to the $21 Pappardelle.

"We allow our chefs to have the autonomy and creativity to express what they are passionate about," said Califano.
