Wayside Youth 5K4Kids Event This Weekend
Wayside Youth and Family Support Network's biggest annual fundraiser kicks off Saturday at Walsh Middle School in Framingham.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The biggest fundraiser of the year for Wayside Youth and Family Support Network is coming up this weekend in Framingham. The 10th annual 5K4Kids Run/Walk will also feature a Halloween festival with prizes and activities for kids.

Wayside Youth and Family Support Network will hold its 10th annual 5K4Kids Run/Walk and free Halloween Festival on Oct. 5. The event features a 5-kilometer road race, a chance to win a $5,000 vacation and tons of fun, family activities.

Who: Wayside Youth and Family Support Network is a Framingham-based nonprofit that provides counseling, education and treatment services to children, youth and families. The event is Wayside’s largest fundraiser, raising more than $100,000 each year.
What: The 5K4Kids is a professionally timed road race and walk. Prizes and medals will be awarded to the top three female and male runners in each age division as well as for overall winners. All registrants will receive a long sleeve race jersey and gift bag. The Halloween festival will include a bouncy house, face painting, air brush tattoos, pumpkin decorating, food, raffles and much more.
