Woman Assaulted In Framingham Park: Police

Police are searching for a suspect who grabbed a woman while she was walking her dog Sunday.

FRAMINGHAM, MA – Police are looking for the suspect in a reported assault at a Framingham park Sunday afternoon. Police said the woman was walking her dog at Callahan State Park when she was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground.

The suspect fled when she began yelling, according to police. He is described as a white male, approximately 26-28 years old, six feet tall, with a dark complexion and some facial hair and a shaved head. He was wearing a blue tank top, yellow basketball shorts and a black backpack, police said.

He fled down one of the trails toward the Edmands Road parking area. Anyone with information is asked to call Framingham police.
