Youth Poetry Slam at Framingham Library

The Framingham Library Young Adult Department is holding a Teen Poetry Slam tomorrow, Oct. 15.

Teens age, 19 and younger, can express themselves with an original poem in front of a friendly, supportive audience from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Costin room of the main Framingham Library.

At 7 p.m. guest poet Ethan Smith, the 2014 National College Slam “Best Poet” Award winner, will take the mic.

At 7:30 p.m. the library will hold its own Youth Poetry Slam contest with a cash prize.
